Job Title: SAP UAT Test Lead

6-month contract | Remote in Canada | Must hold a valid Canadian Work Visa

Our client, a leading organization in the natural resources sector, is seeking an experienced SAP UAT Test Lead to support a major SAP transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across multiple business functions, with a particular focus on SAP FICO, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Materials Management (MM), Procurement, Warehouse, and Operational business processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Process Leads, functional consultants, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end business process validation, operational readiness, and successful deployment of the SAP solution. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and testing expertise to drive UAT activities across multiple workstreams and business groups.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across multiple SAP functional areas and business lines
• Develop and manage UAT strategies, test plans, execution schedules, readiness criteria, and reporting frameworks
• Partner with Business Process Leads (BPLs), functional teams, and business stakeholders to ensure complete business process coverage and test readiness
• Coordinate UAT efforts across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and operational workstreams
• Support the creation, review, and validation of business test scripts, test scenarios, and test cases
• Facilitate test execution cycles, defect triage sessions, issue resolution activities, and stakeholder communications
• Track, manage, and report on defects, risks, dependencies, and overall testing progress
• Coordinate test environment readiness, test data preparation, and migration activities required for UAT execution
• Lead go-live simulations, dress rehearsals, and end-to-end business process validation exercises
• Support operational readiness activities to ensure business users, support teams, and processes are prepared for production deployment
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Business Process Leads, SAP functional teams, and project leadership throughout testing and deployment phases
• Provide regular status reporting and readiness assessments to project leadership and business stakeholders

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading UAT activities for large-scale SAP implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs
• Strong experience coordinating testing efforts across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups
• Hands-on experience developing UAT strategies, test plans, execution frameworks, and readiness assessments
• Experience managing defect lifecycles, issue resolution, and testing governance processes
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to establish structure, accountability, and discipline across distributed testing teams in a remote environment

SAP Experience

• Strong experience with SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling)
• Experience supporting Supply Chain Management (SCM) business processes
• Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management), Procurement, Inventory Management, or related supply chain functions
• Understanding of end-to-end business process testing across integrated SAP environments
• Experience validating cross-functional business processes spanning finance, supply chain, operations, and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading go-live simulations, mock cutovers, and dress rehearsal activities
• Experience supporting operational readiness and business adoption activities within ERP programs
• Background in mining, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or asset-intensive environments
• Experience working with large, multi-site operational organizations
