Job Title: Global Applications Administrator

Full-time Opportunity | Hybrid in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area | Must hold a valid Canadian Work Visa | Reporting to Manager of Global Enterprise Infrastructure

Salary Range: $90,000 - $121,000/annum


Our client, a multinational organization with complex global operations, is seeking a Global Applications Administrator to support, optimize, and operationalize a broad portfolio of enterprise applications used across multiple regions.

This role ensures that business-critical applications are reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs. The Global Applications Administrator will oversee application lifecycle management, work closely with functional leaders to understand requirements, drive application improvements, manage vendor relationships, and champion technology standards across the enterprise.


Responsibilities:

Application Administration & Support

  • Administer, configure, monitor, and support a portfolio of global applications used across corporate and site operations.
  • Respond to application support escalations and assist the corporate service desk when required.
  • Maintain and continually improve the global ITSM platform.
  • Monitor overall application health and ensure uptime, reliability, and performance.

Business Partnership & Requirements Translation

  • Act as a service broker to global business functions—gather requirements, influence demand, and shape application solutions.
  • Translate business challenges into viable application enhancements in collaboration with regional IT and business stakeholders.
  • Support development and evolution of the Global Applications Roadmap and maintain the catalog of globally supported software.
  • Support business case development for new applications or major enhancements.

Planning, Governance & Optimization

  • Assess short-, medium-, and long-term application needs and contribute to multi-year technology roadmaps.
  • Lead or support planning and implementation of application rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Ensure application solutions align with regulatory compliance requirements and internal IT governance standards.
  • Review and analyze existing applications for effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support remediation of application vulnerabilities, coordinating prioritization with IT security and other teams.

Vendor & License Management

  • Maintain inventory of application assets, SaaS licensing, contracts, and associated agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure service-level agreements are met.
  • Provide recommendations for licensing true-up/true-down activities tied to multi-year enterprise agreements.

Training, Change Management & Stakeholder Communication

  • Manage and evolve the global applications training program.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, adapting messaging based on audience.
  • Support change management efforts to promote adoption of new tools, processes, and modern workplace applications.
  • Champion productivity improvements through better data management, reporting, and analytics solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint).


Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related business discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in applications administration or similar IT roles.
  • Familiarity with Project Management and Business Analysis best practices.
  • Experience supporting multi-functional, global teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including ability to work across all organizational levels.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT operations, business processes, and how applications support them.
  • Proven experience prioritizing initiatives and developing business cases.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes: incident, problem, change, release, availability.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Experience with core business applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Office 365, and SharePoint.

Preferred

  • Experience working in large, multinational environments with complex application ecosystems.
  • Ability to lead change management and foster a collaborative, productive team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating system performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity considerations as they relate to enterprise applications.
