Job Title: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Analyst
12-month contract | Hybrid in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area | Must hold a valid Canadian Work Visa
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Analyst to support the integrity, organization, and maintenance of asset information within its Enterprise Asset Management platform.
This role is ideal for someone with a technical or software engineering background who enjoys working with structured data, enterprise applications, and business systems. The primary focus is ensuring physical assets are accurately represented within the EAM system by maintaining high-quality asset records, standardized data structures, and consistent asset hierarchies.
While familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management platforms is beneficial, this is not a system administration or reporting-focused position. Instead, the successful candidate will spend most of their time validating, organizing, and maintaining asset information while collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and technology teams to support the organization's asset management program.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update asset records within the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system
- Ensure asset information is accurately structured, classified, and organized within appropriate asset hierarchies
- Support the onboarding of new assets, modifications to existing assets, and asset decommissioning activities
- Review, validate, and maintain asset data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the asset lifecycle
- Develop and maintain asset naming conventions, metadata standards, and documentation to support data governance
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure asset information reflects operational requirements
- Assist with identifying data quality issues and recommending improvements to asset management processes
- Support the development and validation of asset-related reports and dashboards as required
- Provide user guidance, training, and support related to asset data standards and EAM processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enterprise asset data quality and governance
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience working with enterprise applications, structured data, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), CMMS platforms, or similar business systems
- Strong attention to detail with experience maintaining accurate, structured, and well-governed data
- Understanding of relational data, data quality, metadata, and information management principles
- Experience working within enterprise software environments and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IBM Maximo, Oracle EAM, or another Enterprise Asset Management or CMMS platform
- Familiarity with asset management concepts and industry standards such as ISO 55000 or ISO 14224
- Experience using Excel, SQL, or Power BI to validate or analyze data
- Experience with Microsoft Purview or other data governance tools
- Experience supporting infrastructure, facilities, transportation, or other asset-intensive organizations
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional looking to work with enterprise systems and data while supporting the integrity of critical asset information within a large, complex organization.
NOTE: Interested candidates who meet the above qualifications are encouraged to apply directly. Due to the volume of applications, only those shortlisted will be contacted.
